- Second Collection: this weekend August 1st/2nd Pastoral Centre Killarney The John II Pastoral Centre in Killarney acts as a focal point for the catechetical and adult faith education programmes of the diocese and supports Primary and Post Primary Religious Education.
- Communion Calls: will take place on 11th August in Castlemaine Parish. If you have a family member or neighbour who wishes to receive Holy Communion in their home each month, please contact the Parish office.
- Legion Of Mary: ‘Embrace the Grace’ is the title of the Young Adult Catholic Conference (18-40) being held on Saturday 29th August 2026 from 9.30am to 6.00 p.m. at the Legion of Mary, Dublin 7 DO7 VAO3. Tickets are on Eventbrite.ie. The Legion of Mary in Kerry want to sponsor 2 young unwaged adults to attend. Please contact Patricia 0879048659.

Give them Something to Eat
‘And breaking the loaves, he handed them to his disciples who gave them to the crowds’
It was the disciples and not Jesus who distributed the loaves and the fish. And so, it must be in our time. If the followers of Jesus do not share with others what they have received from Him, the work of Jesus and the spreading of the Gospel will not happen.
