  • Second collection: will take place next weekend 6th/7th September for Diocesan Needs.
  • The National Board for Safeguarding Children is running an Art competition for children up to the age of 18. Prizes are available for different age categories, and all art will be displayed in an exhibition. The competition runs from 1st to 30th September. More details on the Church notice board.

For all who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.

The greatest in the Kingdom of God is the one who puts themselves at the disposal of others, who uses their gifts in serving the well-being of others and who has no interest whatever in titles, dignity, or status.

True Christians put their self-value in the kind of person they are for others, and not in some purely external trappings. They do not pretend to be something they are not. They do not compromise their behaviour to conform to other people’s expectations or opinions. They live their lives authentically as followers of Christ.
