- Bingo Fundraiser in Loving memory of Kathleen O’Connor nee O’Shea at Inch Community Centre V92HK3) on Thursday 23rd July at 8pm. Doors open at 7pm. - Credit Union Competition for Youth Members : Win a new Kerry Jersey by opening a new youth account u18 or completing a transaction on an existing youth account, in Milltown CU office between the 7th – 21st July.
- Classic car and Honda 50 fundraiser event will take place on 2nd August at O’Riada’s Bar & Restaurant V92 RF2X at 9am with run at 11am. Funds raised will assist to bring the sick, as well as the helpers to Lourdes in 2027.
Sowing with Confidence
At this time in our history, we can think that Jesus’ Gospel has lost its original force and that his message no longer has power to attract the attention of people today. This is a moment to learn to sow without getting discouraged.
Pope Francis has said that when a Christians don’t live close to Jesus, ‘they quickly lose enthusiasm and stop being sure of what they are transmitting, they lack power and passion. And a person who isn’t convinced, enthusiastic, sure, in love, doesn’t convince anyone’.
