Mission Appeal

The Spiritan Fathers

The Spiritans also known as Holy Ghost Fathers, are a Catholic religious congregation founded in France in 1703.  They are dedicated to evangelising the poor and marginalised worldwide.  Over the years, they have established a presence in over 60 countries.

As part of the financial appeal to parishioners, The Fathers will share their own mission experiences.  The Spiritans are known for their missionary work, which includes providing chaplains in hospitals, prisons and schools and sending missionaries to various regions, including the Far East and North America.  They continue to be a vital part of the Church’s mission to spread the Gospel and support those in need.

We welcome Fr. Martin Kelly, Fr. John Brown and Fr. Pat Palmer to our parish Masses next weekend of June 13th/14th.
